Art Mill International Deisgn Competition

The brief called for the design of a new art gallery complex on the coast of Doha, Qatar

The competition comprised a 4 stage process through which a winner was selected to execute the design and project implementation. The Matrix… partnered with Noero Architects and made the 2^nd stage comprising a shortlist of 27 international firms.

The final design submission adopted a take on traditional middle-eastern urban space-making and aimed to create a grand public plaza while at the same time integrating the art complex into the existing urban fabric
