Uitenhage Market Square: architectural lights

This project entailed a strategy for the upgrading of the Uitenhage CBD, especially the Market Square and its surrounding areas. Some taxi ranks and Market Street were also upgraded. The front façade of the Town Hallwas upgraded and universal access provided. the Electricity Building   The square was reconfigured to contain a water feature, several statues and trees. The alignment of Market Street was subtly changed to emphasize the importance of the market Square.
